Since 1957, I have practiced law, and have represented approximately 10,000 clients, 200 per year, in a variety of legal matters, which has required me to be disciplined not only from the standpoint of gathering the facts efficiently, searching the law relative to those facts, and preparing the necessary legal strategy for anticipated settlement or litigation, but also I am constantly updating the legal research to be as current as possible for the purpose of either settling or trying a matter.
In conjunction with the above, I am attentive, dutiful, diligent, and devoted to the interests of my clients and have informed my clients of every step of the litigation as described above. I cannot guarantee the success of any litigation, but I can guarantee to perform to the utmost of my ability, as is substantiated by the Firm Overview, the Representative Cases, and the Media Coverage pages of this website.
My hourly rate is $200 an hour, but under certain circumstances, particularly in representing police officers, firefighters, and other public employees, in disciplinary matters and pensions, I do arrange for a flat fee. That flat fee is reduced to a fee agreement, which binds me and my client to the quoted flat fee irrespective of the number of hours required to perform the legal services to which the fee agreement applies.
